In accordance with HELCOM Recommendation 34E/3, Annex VII "Response to Pollution Incidents" is amended with substantial changes to Reg ulation 1 (1), Reg ulation 2, Reg ulation 8 (1a), Regulation 10 (1a, 1b, 1c, 2 and 3) to explicitly include resp onse on the shore . Th e amendment includes also editorial rewordings concerning Regulation 11 where "HELCOM Combatting Manual" has been rephrased as "H ELCOM Response Manual" and the " Combatting Committee" rephrased as the " Response Group", which is according to valid practice since 2002. These amendments entered into force on 1 July 2014.
